Feb 23 reminds of a great day for all of us. Exactly 12 years ago on
Feb 23 1996 Mrs. Hillary Clinton said “Prophet Muhummud(ph) received the Quran from God which has touched and enlightened billions including my family”
Addressing the first ever Eid celebrations in the White House, the First Lady said that like many Americans, she had only recently gained a full application of Islam and that a change has occurred compared to the recent past.
The Two Candidates
The two candidates for the Democratic Presidential nomination are Hillary Clinton and Obama.
Hillary
Hillary has said that Prophet Muhummud (ph)has received the Quran from God.
Obama
Obama is an African-American. He has a Muslim name-Barack Hussein Obama. He is the son of a Muslim African immigrant. His stepfather, an Indonesian, was also a Muslim. It was pointed out that while in Indonesia, he regularly said Friday Prayers with other students of the school, that his stepsisters were still Muslims and that he attended their weddings and stayed in touch with his extended Muslim family.
Although a Christian, Mr. Obama never hid his Muslim background and discussed his Muslim links in his books and also in his speeches. He also spoke of calling a meeting of all Islamic nations to discuss the dispute that divided the Islamic and western worlds if elected.
Good Luck to either Democrat
Now that both Democratic candidates Hillary and Obama MAY have some soft corner for Islam, I wish that either of them become the President of U.S.A. so that Muslims and Christians can quench their thirst from one single universal river of love, and instead of bombs of hatred we may witness fireworks display of joy and happiness.
1996
In 1996 I had written to Mrs. Hillary Clinton that the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 8/4: “So then about eating the food offered to idols; we know that the idol stands for some thing that does not really exist; we know that there is only the one God’’
So Hillary believes by birth in one God(Allah) and believes by choice that Prophet Muhummud (ph) is the messenger of God because she said that Prophet Muhummud (ph) received the Quranic Message from God.
So ( ˝ by birth and ˝ by choice) she has embraced the whole statement which one recites when becoming a Muslim i.e. “there is no god but God, Muhummud is the Messenger of God’’
Big And Grand World
I had also written that ‘‘it is not just the small lands of Pakistan and America but it is a big and grand world in which we live’’
“It is not just the land of the earth which is necessary for the plants to grow but from millions of miles away the sun is equally necessary for the plants to grow’’
“I see the same sun ,moon, stars and the sky of America every day in Pakistan. We share so much in common. Only clinging to small lands divides us from what is big and grand’’
Universal
When our body goes underground and our soul flies towards the sky, we cease to be Pakistani or American and we become universal. Before our birth we were universal. After our death we again become universal. Why not make our small life between birth and death also universal??
