IN CONNECTION WITH However, people even these days can live up to 122 years or more. Even in this context except for the ages of Prophet Adam (Ph) 930 years and Prophet Nuh(Ph) 950 years ALL OTHER PROPHETS WERE NOT VERY OLD. Prophet Suleman (Ph) was only 53 years old. Will it be okay for us to say that, we have been blessed with the night of Al-Qadr to make up the loss in reward because our life is short when compared to earlier lives? It is interesting to note that Prophet Ibrahim (Ph) was only 100 years old when he said how can he have a son (Issack) at such an old age. His wife Sarah (RTA) was 90 years old. So 100 years was considered to be old age even at the time of Hazrat Ibrahim who lived so many hundred years before the Torah was revealed. The bible says about prophet Issack (PH) as follows: Issack lived to be 180 years old and died at a ripe old age So 180 years was considered to be ripe old age. It is also interesting to note that the very 1st book (Genesis) of Jews and Christians says that mankind will not live more than 120 years. This shows the concept of old age in those VERY EARLY DAYS.
