CRUCIFIED ?????? JESUS OR JUDAS??????

According to the Christian Bible, Jesus was Crucified. He was betrayed by Judas.

According to the Holy Quran, Jesus was not put on the cross.

According to the Muslim belief and Gospel of Barnabas, Judas was put on the cross instead of Jesus, as a punishment for betraying Jesus.

THEREFORE

Therefore according to the Gospel of Barnabas and Muslim belief, Judas should be dead and absent from the world after the event of crucifixion, because it was Judas who died on the cross and not Jesus.

BUT, SINCE

But since the Bible does not put Judas on the cross, so according to the Bible Judas should be present in the earth alive after the event of crucifixion

WAS JUDAS ALIVE AFTER CRUCIFIXION

Let us first see the following verses of the Bible in the New Testament:

JUDAS AGREES TO BETRAY JESUS

CHAPTER 26 MATTHEW

14) Then one of the twelve disciples--- the one named Judas Iscariot--- went to the chief priests

15) and asked , “What will you give me if I betray Jesus to you?” They counted out thirty silver coins and gave them to him.

16) From then on Judas was looking for a good chance to hand Jesus over to them.

CHAPTER 14 MARK

10) Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went off to the chief priests in order to betray Jesus to them.

11) They were pleased to hear what he had to say, and promised to give him money. So Judas started looking  for a good chance to hand Jesus over to them.

THE ARREST OF JESUS

43) Jesus was still speaking when Judas, one of the twelve disciples, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, and sent by the chief priests, the teacher of the law, and the elders,.

44) The traitor had given the crowd a signal: “The man I kiss is the one you want. Arrest him and taken him away under guard.”

45) As soon as Judas arrived, he went up to Jesus and said, “Teacher!” and kissed him.

46) So they arrested Jesus, and held him tight.

JESUS IS TAKEN TO PILATE

CHAPTER 27 MATTHEW

1) Early in the morning all the chief priests and the elders made their plans against Jesus to put him to death.

2) They put him in chains, led him off, and handed him over to Pilate, the Roman governor.

THE DEATH OF JUDAS

3) When Judas, the traitor, learnt that Jesus had been condemned, he repented and took back the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and the elders.

4)“I have sinned by betraying an innocent man to death!” he said.

“ What do we care about that?” they answered. “That is your business!”

5) Judas threw the coins down in the Temple and left; then he went off and hanged himself.

6) The chief priests picked up the coins and said, “This is blood money, and it is against our law to put in the temple treasury .”

7) After reaching an agreement about it, they used the money to buy potter’s Field, as a cemetery for foreigners.

8) That is why that field is called “Field of Blood” to this very day.

CHAPTER 1 ACTS

18) With the money that Judas got for his evil act he bought a field, where he fell to his death; he burst open and all his bowels spilt out.

19) All the people living in Jerusalem heard about it, and so in their own language they call that field Akeldama, which means “Field of Blood.”

OBSERVATION FROM THE ABOVE VERSES OF THE BIBLE

Judas was not present in the earth, but the Bible tried to make him present on the earth. In this way the Bible tried to finish the concept that Judas was put on the cross instead of Jesus.

CONTRADICTION

In Matthew 27 / 5 Judas threw down the coins down in the Temple and left; then he went off and hanged himself.

In Acts 1/18 Judas bought a field with the money that he got for his evil act. There he fell to his death; he burst open and all his bowels spilt out.

CONTRADICTION

In Matthew  26 / 15 thirty silver coins are given to Judas in advance.

In Mark 14 / 11 promise was made to give money to Judas

CONCLUSION

Two contradictory statements cannot be right, but both may be wrong………

Judas was not present in the earth, and so theories and stories were made to establish his presence on the earth AFTER CRUCIFIXION

In view of the contradictory verses of the Bible, we may safely conclude that JUDAS was put on the cross,……… and that the Holy Quran is right in saying that Jesus was NOT put on the cross…. And Bible of Barnabas is correct in saying that JUDAS was crucified instead of Jesus.
